Barcode shrunk when exporting crystal report to PDF

Hi guys,

I've spend several hours (days more likely) trying to work around the bug in Crystal Report that shrinks the barcode when exporting the report to PDF.

I've tried solutions in these cases:

None of them seem to work.

I am using the embedded report that comes with VS2008 and the server contains the redistributable version only. Registry entry is: HKCR\Software\Business Objects\10.5

Can anybody please point me in the right direction so that I can sort this out and move on?
