We are resellers of a software package that we are able to customize. The previous version of the package used Crystal 11. We wrote a report for a customer that consists of a Parent report and an on demand Sub-Report. When previewing the sub-report the client was able to export to Excel without any problems.
The software package has upgraded to a new version and all their reports were written using Crystal 12, so they are distributing Crystal 12 runtimes. Now, when our client attempts to export the sub-report to Excel, what exports is actually the parent report. Again, the export is flawless, formats nicely, no error - just the wrong data.
Any insight or advice will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Steve Lawrence
