To not enter in much detail of code i will try to ask this as simple as possible:
So i have 2 scenarios, In each of them i make calls to a method (same method) that basically in the end calls export document to PDF so that next i send it by email.
First Scenario is i call the method directly from a asp button on postback and this produces me the correct document to file io with all pages (may be 2 , 3 or more per document), but this is working very well.
Second scenario is i have an asynchronous call to a page that calls this same method as above, but this time the document although is correctly exported, only the first page is saved.
So basically this is an issue of same kind when exporting.
My questions are, and i apreciate a good answer for the best way to resolve this:
- Is there any way i can check through the ReportEngine object if the export has completed?
- Is there any other option available or code sample that i can use in this async cal to be sure have the full export?
Please help me. I am really getting start to be very irritated with this issue.
